Pencak Silat: Persaudaraan Setia Hati Terate (PSHT)

Pencak Silat is one of the cultures that exist in Indonesia. However, martial arts are also used by some people to minimize crime that exists today. As sports, martial arts are also very popular in Indonesia. In fact, martial arts have a wide range of flows, including the number of colleges in the area known for arts of silat.



One of these colleges is the college of Persaudaraan Setia Hati Terate (Lotus Faithful Heart Brotherhood). PSHT as an organization that believes in the saying “brotherhood' are eternal and everlasting”. Ki Hajar Hardjo Oetomo, born in Madiun 1890, became the founder. Due to his diligence to serve the teachers, namely Ki Ngabehi Soerodiwiryo, he managed to grasp most of the knowledge of his teachers until he earned the title of the third degree warrior in the level of knowledge Faithful Heart (SH). It happened in the village when the nation Winongo was Dutch colony in Indonesia.

At Faithful Heart Brotherhood, students are taught 36 martial arts moves which are the legacy of Ki Ngabei Soerodiwirjo in erste trap and knowledge lessons "Faithful Heart" which can be obtained at the level Twede trap and Derde trap. The moves are the ingredients of a martial arts school located in the archipelago, including from West Java, Betawi (Jakarta), and Minangkabau.

SH Terate people spread across Indonesia and in some countries such as the Netherlands, France, Belgium, Germany, USA, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam and Brunei Darussalam. Administrative committee initiated recording the number of siblings in 1986. So the number of siblings started in 1986-1999 (108-267).
